Ashley Campuzano was born on March 10, 1992 and was raised in the quiet, Southern Californian community of Downey. She is of Mexican descent and a fluent Spanish speaker. Ashley discovered her passion in the performing arts at a young age. At the age of 8, Ashley began dancing and cheerleading for local teams. At the age of 12, Ashley was discovered by a scout at a mall, and soon began her career in the entertainment industry.
Ashley participated in several pageants, and was honored as Miss Teen Downey in 2007, Miss Teen California Latina in 2008, and also competed in the national competition for Miss Teen US Latina, which was held in El Paso, Texas. In 2010, Ashley competed in the Miss Teen California USA pageant and placed on the Top 15. She went on to do her last pageant in 2010, where she was crowned Miss Downey, and also appeared on Downey’s float in the annual Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA. From 2010 to 2012, Ashley was an official CHIVAS girl for the professional MLS soccer team CHIVAS USA. In 2014, Ashley graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
Ashley has studied acting with some of Hollywood’s best acting coaches including Aaron Speiser, Margie Haber, Deborah Barylski, Scott Sedita and others. Ashley has appeared on many commercials such as Comcast, Liv Dolls, Tampax, and many more. You have probably also seen Ashley in shows such as Aquarius, Bold and the Beautiful and her series regular role on the popular Emmy Nominated series East Los High as Tiffany Ramos.
Amongst acting, Ashley has also taken part in co finding the Conscious Hearts foundation. A non profit organization catered to helping orphan children across Mexico.
For the past 5 years, She has devoted her energy to passionately advocate for the hungry, needy and politically under-represented children in her community along with those in the bordered cities.
